Think of a vehicle workspace as the home for one rental operation. Your scooters, motorbikes or cars, their bookings and the settings your team uses belong together. When you switch to another workspace, you switch to a different operation with its own vehicles and bookings. Customer profiles can still be shared across your business account, depending on staff permissions.

Not a branch and not a location module

A workspace represents a rental operation, not a branch inside a larger fleet system. You can organize separate locations as different workspaces if that fits your business, but their vehicles and bookings remain separate. Kasura does not support picking up a vehicle in one workspace and returning it in another.

How this differs from an accommodation workspace

Vehicle rentals and accommodation have different daily routines. Your vehicle workspace handles pickups, returns, fuel readings and mileage, while an accommodation workspace handles guest check-in, check-out and room readiness. You can run both under the same Kasura business account without mixing their bookings. Driver's licence details can be recorded on customer profiles, but Kasura does not verify their validity.

What this workspace is not

It is not GPS tracking, telematics or a maintenance-management suite. A vehicle can be marked Maintenance or Inactive. That is a status, not a service-interval system. Multi-location pickup and drop-off inside one workspace is not supported. Scheduled maintenance dates with notes are available for accommodation units, not for vehicles.
