Introduction

#

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to all use of the Kasura platform and related services provided by Kasura LLC ("Kasura"). It supplements the Terms of Service. By using Kasura, you agree to this AUP on behalf of yourself and anyone you allow to access your workspace.

In this policy, "Operator" means the business account holder and authorized team members; "End Customer" means renters, bookers, or others who interact with your public booking pages or customer portal.

This Acceptable Use Policy applies to all access to and use of the Services, including trial accounts, early access programs, beta features, public booking websites, customer portals, future APIs, integrations, and any other functionality made available by Kasura.

Prohibited conduct

#

You must not use Kasura — or allow others to use your workspace — to:

  • Illegal activity. Violate any applicable law, regulation, court order, or industry requirement, including rental, consumer, transport, insurance, export, or sanctions laws. This includes attempting to use the Service to facilitate money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions evasion, human trafficking, or other prohibited criminal activities.
  • Fraud and misrepresentation. Submit false bookings, fake listings, manipulated documents, or misleading pricing; impersonate another person or business; or misrepresent assets, availability, or identity.
  • Abuse of the platform. Harass Kasura staff or other users, circumvent technical limits, probe or scan systems without authorization, or interfere with Service availability or performance. You must not intentionally interfere with the experience of other Operators, overload shared infrastructure, or attempt to bypass technical safeguards designed to protect platform stability.
  • Spam and unsolicited communications. Send bulk unsolicited messages, marketing without consent where required, or use Kasura notification or email features for unrelated campaigns.
  • Phishing and social engineering. Collect credentials, payment data, or personal information through deceptive pages, messages, or branding — including mimicking Kasura or payment providers.
  • Malware and harmful code. Upload or distribute viruses, ransomware, spyware, or other harmful code; or link to resources designed to compromise devices or accounts. You must not upload files or content intended to exploit vulnerabilities, compromise connected systems, or interfere with payment providers, customer devices, or Kasura infrastructure.
  • Intellectual property violations. Infringe copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, or other rights; use Kasura to sell or advertise goods or services that violate third-party IP.
  • Misuse of public booking pages. Publish offensive, discriminatory, or unlawful content; list assets you do not have authority to rent; scrape or harvest End Customer data from other operators; or use public pages for purposes unrelated to legitimate rental operations.
  • Payment abuse. Process payments for prohibited goods or services; launder money; test stolen cards; structure transactions to evade provider limits; or use Kasura payment flows for transactions where you are not the legitimate merchant of record, as described in our Payment Terms.
  • Fake identities. Register accounts or complete verification using false identity or business information, or create multiple accounts to evade suspension or limits.
  • Limit bypass. Exceed plan limits through technical manipulation, shared credentials across unauthorized organizations, or reselling workspace access outside permitted use in the Terms.
  • API and automation abuse. Access Kasura through undocumented interfaces, excessive automated requests that degrade the Service, or integrations that violate this AUP — including future APIs or webhooks when made available. Reasonable automation aligned with documented features and rate limits is permitted.
  • Security testing without authorization. Attempt penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, reverse engineering, or security research against the Services without Kasura's prior written authorization. Responsible disclosure of genuine security vulnerabilities is encouraged through security@kasura.app.

End Customer conduct

#

You are responsible for setting appropriate rules for End Customers using your booking pages and portal. While End Customers are not direct parties to Kasura's Terms, you must not facilitate or encourage End Customer conduct that would violate this AUP if performed through your workspace (for example, fraudulent bookings or payment fraud).

Kasura may disable access to specific booking pages or transactions that pose risk to the platform, payment providers, or other users.

Operators remain solely responsible for enforcing their own rental terms, cancellation policies, deposit rules, identity verification procedures, and customer eligibility requirements.

Monitoring and cooperation

#

Kasura may use automated and manual review to detect abuse, fraud, and security threats. We may analyze metadata, usage patterns, and content submitted to the Service as described in our Privacy Policy.

You agree to cooperate with reasonable investigations, provide information about your use when requested, and remediate issues we identify. We may report unlawful activity to authorities or payment providers where appropriate.

Monitoring activities are performed only to the extent reasonably necessary to operate, secure, improve, maintain, investigate, or protect the Services and are conducted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Enforcement

#

If we believe you have violated this AUP or the Terms, we may take one or more of the following actions, with or without notice depending on severity and legal requirements:

  • Warning or request to correct the issue
  • Removal or disabling of specific content, booking pages, or integrations
  • Restriction of payment or messaging features
  • Temporary suspension of your workspace or account
  • Permanent termination of access
  • Legal remedies available under the Terms or applicable law

No obligation to monitor everything

Kasura is not obligated to monitor all activity and does not guarantee detection of every violation. Enforcement decisions are made in our reasonable discretion to protect the Service, users, and third parties.

Enforcement measures may be applied proportionately depending on the severity, frequency, intent, operational impact, legal requirements, or security risk associated with the violation.

Suspension and termination

#

Emergency suspension may occur without prior notice where necessary to address security incidents, fraud, illegal activity, or material risk to Kasura, payment processors, or other users.

Upon suspension or termination, your right to use the Service ends as described in the Terms. You remain responsible for obligations incurred before termination, including End Customer matters and outstanding subscription fees where applicable. Data handling after termination is described in the Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement.

Where reasonably practicable and appropriate, Kasura may provide an opportunity to remedy non-material violations before permanent termination. Nothing in this section limits Kasura's right to immediately suspend or terminate access where necessary to protect the Services, other users, payment providers, or comply with applicable law.

Reporting violations

#

To report suspected violations of this AUP, contact legal@kasura.app or support@kasura.app with relevant details (URLs, workspace name, dates, and description). Security vulnerabilities should be reported to security@kasura.app.

Reports should include sufficient information to allow reasonable investigation. Kasura may request additional information where necessary and may be unable to act on anonymous or incomplete reports.

Changes to this Acceptable Use Policy

#

Kasura may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the Services, applicable law, payment provider requirements, security practices, or operational needs. Continued use of the Services after an updated version becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the revised policy where permitted by applicable law.
