A NOTE FROM THE FOUNDER
Why I built Kasura.
I built Kasura for the people who actually run rental businesses and hand over the keys themselves.
I've traveled a lot over the last several years. Along the way I kept meeting small rental businesses: scooter shops in Bali, motorcycle rentals in Vietnam, family-run rentals in Thailand and Malaysia, and camper and car rentals in Australia.
The countries were different. The day-to-day problems often looked surprisingly similar. Some used complicated software that felt designed for much larger companies. Others ran most of the business through WhatsApp, paper notes and a whiteboard. Bookings in one place, customer details in another, and somewhere in between the question of which scooter was actually coming back tomorrow.
Family and friends of mine run rentals too. I saw the same chaos season after season. So I started building the system I wished they had: simple enough that you don't have to learn how the software thinks, but complete enough to actually run the rental. From booking to handover and return, with the business's own public booking website, and no platform sitting in the middle.
