Workspace model

One account. Any combination of specialized rental businesses.

A workspace is one rental business inside a Kasura account. One login can hold several workspaces — for example a vehicle shop and an accommodation business — each with its own data and operating mode.

What a workspace is

A Kasura workspace is a separate operational environment for one rental business, location, brand or business unit, with its own assets, bookings, customers, settings and public booking website. Assets, bookings and customers stay inside that workspace. Staff access, documents and business details are also workspace-scoped. You stay signed in and switch with one click. A workspace type — the setting that determines which terminology, statuses and flows a workspace uses — is a related but separate idea.

One account, several workspaces

Kasura is not limited to one hotel plus one scooter shop. You can run several vehicle businesses, several accommodation businesses, or a mix of both under the same account. Each one is its own workspace. Workspaces do not share a customer list, do not support cross-workspace bookings, and do not offer consolidated cross-workspace reporting today.

  • A scooter shop and a small hotel under one login
  • Two vehicle businesses that need separate customers and pricing
  • An accommodation business plus a later vehicle workspace

Not a folder or a data container

A Kasura workspace is not a folder or a filter on shared data: switching workspace changes the operational mode of the product. When you switch from an Accommodation workspace to a Vehicle workspace, Kasura changes the workflow language and screens — check-in and room readiness versus pickup, return, odometer, fuel and helmets — not just which rows are visible.

Not a branch or location module

Some operators create one workspace per physical site because those sites do not share customers, prices or staff. That is an account-structure choice. Kasura does not provide a branch, depot or franchise layer inside a workspace. There is no shared inventory across sites, no cross-workspace pickup or drop-off, and no location field that splits one workspace into branches.

Available workspace types today

Vehicle and Accommodation workspaces are available. Equipment workspaces are planned and cannot be created yet — they are Coming Soon, not live product. A workspace is created as one type; it is not a combined vehicle-and-stay inventory.
