Cancellation Policy
How subscription cancellation, renewals, and access after cancellation work on Kasura.
Subscription cancellation
#Operators may cancel an active subscription before the next billing cycle through workspace billing settings or by contacting billing@kasura.app.
Cancellation stops future renewal charges. It does not automatically refund the current paid billing period unless required by applicable law. See our Payment Terms and Terms of Service for related billing rules.
Cancellation affects future subscription renewals only. It does not automatically close your Kasura account, delete your workspace, or remove stored data. Data handling after cancellation is governed by the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Data Processing Agreement.
Monthly and yearly billing
#Kasura may offer monthly and yearly subscription plans. Monthly subscriptions renew each month; yearly subscriptions renew each year — unless cancelled before the next billing cycle. Displayed subscription prices are subtotals. All prices exclude applicable taxes. Taxes are calculated securely by Stripe during checkout. Applicable VAT, GST or sales tax will be added where required by law.
If you change between monthly and yearly billing, the effective billing date, renewal schedule, and any applicable prorated adjustments are determined by the active billing configuration and payment provider.
Access after cancellation
#After cancellation, access to paid features typically remains available until the end of the already paid subscription period.
When that period expires, workspace access, paid features, add-ons, public booking websites, integrations, or usage limits may become limited, suspended, or unavailable depending on account status and configuration.
Certain information may remain accessible for legal, billing, security, fraud prevention, or backup purposes as described in the Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement.
Plan upgrades
#When upgrading to a higher subscription plan or adding paid add-ons, Kasura may apply prorated billing adjustments, credits, immediate charges, or updated billing cycles depending on Stripe behavior.
Unused portions of an existing paid period may be credited toward the upgraded plan where supported. Kasura does not guarantee cash refunds for upgrades unless legally required.
Upgrades generally become effective immediately unless otherwise indicated during checkout or within your billing settings.
Downgrades and feature removal
#Downgrades usually take effect at the end of the current paid billing period unless applied earlier by the billing system.
Downgrading may reduce features, usage limits, assets, staff accounts, booking websites, or integrations. You are responsible for reducing usage to match the downgraded plan where required.
Operators are responsible for exporting any data or reducing usage before downgrade-related limits become effective where necessary.
Refunds
#Kasura generally does not provide partial refunds for unused subscription periods, inactivity, cancellations, downgrades, or removed add-ons unless legally required.
Refund requests may be reviewed individually for billing errors, confirmed platform issues, or legal obligations. Contact billing@kasura.app.
Approved refunds, where applicable, are processed through the original payment method whenever reasonably possible and may require additional processing time depending on the payment provider or financial institution.
Trial periods
#Kasura may offer temporary free trial access. Trial duration, features, and conversion behavior may change. Some trials end automatically unless converted to a paid subscription.
Unless otherwise stated, trial access automatically ends at the end of the advertised trial period. Continued access after the trial may require activation of a paid subscription.
Founder, legacy and promotional plans
#Founder, early access, legacy, or promotional pricing may be limited and conditional. If such a plan is cancelled, downgraded, paused, transferred, or payment fails for an extended period, the same pricing or conditions may not be available again.
Kasura may require an upgrade if usage exceeds the intended limits or fair-use scope of a promotional plan.
Eligibility requirements for promotional pricing may change over time. Kasura reserves the right to discontinue promotional offers for new customers while honoring existing commitments where applicable.
Payment failures
#Kasura may suspend, restrict, or terminate access for overdue invoices, failed payment attempts, suspected fraud, chargebacks, abuse, or payment provider restrictions.
Repeated failed payments may result in loss of access, cancellation of the active subscription, or loss of promotional or founder pricing.
Where reasonably appropriate, Kasura may attempt to notify Operators before suspension or termination resulting from failed subscription payments. Nothing in this section limits Kasura's ability to suspend access immediately where required for fraud prevention, legal compliance, or payment provider requirements.
Account deletion
#Subscription cancellation and account deletion are separate actions. Cancelling a subscription stops future recurring billing but does not automatically delete your Kasura account or workspace.
Requests for permanent workspace deletion may be submitted through support or other available account management features. Data deletion is handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement.
Changes to this Cancellation Policy
#Kasura may update this Cancellation Policy from time to time to reflect changes in subscription plans, billing systems, payment providers, legal requirements, or Service functionality. Continued use of the Services after an updated version becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the revised policy where permitted by applicable law.
