Whiteboard and Excel
Kasura replaces the rental whiteboard and the booking spreadsheet, not the shop's accounting file.
The board and the sheet
The whiteboard is today's yard. The spreadsheet is the month. When they disagree, the customer is already on the way.
What moves into Kasura
The booking, the customer, the vehicle or unit, the dates, and the security deposit. Release, drop-off, check-in, and check-out update that same booking.
What stays outside
Accounting, BIR records, payroll, and any spreadsheet that is not the rental calendar. Kasura records rental figures. It does not keep the books.
Requests that are not on the board yet
A call or a Messenger message is not a booking until staff record it, or until a booking request arrives on the booking website and staff accept it.
One Workspace
The cars of this rental business live in one Workspace. A second brand or a separate stay operation is another Workspace, not another column on the same board.
Availability follows the booking
Once the booking is saved, the calendar reads it. Staff do not also block the car in a second file.
The counter still decides
Kasura does not release a vehicle by itself and does not decide a deposit outcome. Staff still do release and drop-off. The record is what they confirmed.
A notebook is the same problem
A paper log has the same split as Excel: one person has the book, everyone else is guessing. The booking in Kasura is the copy the counter shares.
What this guide does not mean
- It does not replace accounting or tax spreadsheets.
- It does not read Messenger or wipe the board by magic.
- It is not a second system beside the booking.
