Vehicle and stay
Cars are released and dropped off. Stays are checked in and checked out. A scooter is a vehicle.
What problem this solves
Calling vehicle release a check-in puts fuel and an odometer on a room, or hides them on a car.
Why the alternative is insufficient
One generic handover form would force vehicle fields onto a stay or stay fields onto a car.
How Kasura handles it
Vehicle: the customer picks up, staff release, the car leaves, the customer brings it back at drop-off. Stay: the guest arrives, staff check in, then check out, and the room can be ready, dirty, or cleaning.
What this does not mean
A motorcycle or scooter is still a vehicle. A stay is not a hotel PMS.
