Availability
Availability in Kasura is derived from an asset's existing bookings, not a separate blocking calendar, so it reflects actual booking reality directly.
What problem this solves
A separate block calendar creates a second source of truth that must be kept in sync with the actual bookings.
Why the alternative is insufficient
Synchronizing availability with external channels would require a channel manager Kasura does not currently provide.
How Kasura handles it
Checking availability is always a check against an asset's existing bookings for the requested period, not a separate calendar.
What this does not mean
That Kasura guarantees double-bookings cannot happen, or synchronizes availability with external booking platforms.
