The accommodation operations board is the accommodation-workspace equivalent of the vehicle whiteboard, showing today's check-ins, check-outs and unit readiness states in one place on the dashboard. It summarizes the daily operations view for accommodation specifically: which guests are arriving today, which are departing, and what readiness state each unit is currently in — ready, dirty or cleaning. It exists for the same underlying reason as the vehicle whiteboard: a calendar answers when something is booked, while a team on the ground needs a view organized around what has to happen right now. However, the operations board is deliberately not simply the vehicle whiteboard relabeled for accommodation; it is shaped around accommodation's own operational vocabulary and structure — check-ins, check-outs and unit readiness — rather than vehicle-specific concepts like pickups, returns or odometer readings, which have no equivalent in accommodation. The operations board appears on the dashboard rather than as a dedicated top-level screen the way the vehicle whiteboard does, reflecting a deliberate, non-symmetrical design choice between the two workspace types.
