Kasura SaaS billing is the subscription payment the rental operator makes to Kasura, processed through Stripe, in exchange for access to the platform. This is one of three distinct money layers in the product, and keeping them separate is essential to understanding what Kasura is: first, Kasura SaaS billing, the operator's own subscription payment to Kasura; second, rental customer payments — the price, deposit and fees the operator's own customers pay for their bookings, tracked entirely separately; and third, explicitly absent, any general-purpose invoicing, accounting or subscription system for the operator's own end customers. Kasura's Legal pages and its dedicated Billing hub keep the SaaS-billing layer cleanly separated from booking-level payments, though marketing language elsewhere has at times blended the two less carefully — the correct, canonical distinction is the one described here. An operator manages their Kasura subscription independently of any individual booking's payment status: a fully paid booking has no bearing on whether the operator's own Kasura invoice is current, and vice versa. Understanding this separation prevents a common category of confusion, where a booking payment or a customer deposit gets mistaken for a payment to Kasura, or where Kasura is assumed to offer invoicing capabilities for the operator's own customers that it does not provide.
