Why Workspaces Exist
Workspaces exist because one Kasura account often needs to run several separate operations — locations, brands or business types — sharing a login and subscription but nothing operational.
What problem this solves
Two fully separate systems solve data separation but create two logins, two subscriptions and no shared overview; one shared dataset solves the connection but forces one business's settings, pricing and terminology onto another that does not fit them.
Why the alternative is insufficient
A single shared dataset with a category or branch filter would still force a hotel and a scooter rental under the same account to share pricing rules, staff roles and terminology that do not apply to both.
How Kasura handles it
Switching between workspaces changes terminology, available screens and workflows without requiring a new login.
What this does not mean
That workspaces under one account share a customer base, allow a booking to span more than one workspace, or produce a consolidated report across workspaces; none of these exist — each workspace's assets, bookings, customers and settings stay fully separate.
